How does it work?
Map My College uses the Google Maps API in connection with our massive college & university database to map colleges from all over the United States. By simply selecting the state and city you wish to look at, our software will retrieve and map the colleges on the map allowing you to zoom in or zoom out to view the colleges.
Along with putting the colleges on the map, we also allow you to click the icon on the map to pop up a window that displays information about the college.
How do I search the map?
Currently we do not offer a search feature but we are working diligently to bring you this feature. Please feel free to submit our contact form and let us know what type of a search you would like to perform. Nationwide, statewide, etc.
Are you going to list colleges outside of the United States?
Yes, currently we are working on populating our database with colleges outside of the United States. We are currently working on Canada and plan to start mapping colleges & universities in Europe by the end of the year.
Do you have any widgets available?
Currently we do not have any widgets for our mapping utility. We are working on a widget that will allow you to post on your website and allow the user to interact with the points on the map. We'd also like to feature information for the points on the map just like we do with our main software on this website. Stay tuned!
